Fantastic Four #55  (1966)

An almost perfect copy of FF 55, a classic comic cover and story by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. I consider Fantastic Four Issues 40-55 one of the top five of most important comic book runs ever.  These books contain the first stories of the Silver Surfer, Galactus, the Black Panther, The Inhumans, Warlock and the origin of the Ben(the Thing).

Avengers #83  (1970)

In the male dominant Avengers or Marvel Universe for that matter its nice to see the ladies claim the throne for once.

X-Men #101  (1976)

This particular issue is the start of the stories where Jean Grey becomes the Dark Phoenix. As a young boy I was given X-Men 132 by my father. That story evolves around the Dark Phoenix manipulated by the Hellfire Club and resulting in a heartbreaking battle between Jean Gray and her fiancee Scott Summers, Cyclops)from the X-Men. The other members of the team were getting their ass-kicked as well. The story didnt have a happy ending(X-men #138), and left me wanting more and resulted in me becoming addicted to Marvel Comics.
